L'Ethica d'Aristotile ridotta in compendio

Title

L'Ethica d'Aristotile ridotta in compendio

Description

The volume, printed in France in 1568 and edited by the fuoriuscito Jacopo Corbinelli, is the editio princeps of Brunetto Latini's compendium of the Ethics from his Trésor. The textual tradition of the work is most controversial, for it is linked to the wide manuscript circulation of Taddeo Alderotti's Italian version of the compendium. Cf. Gentili 2005 (the same scholar is currently working on a critical edition of Taddeo's compendium of the Ethics).
